Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

  • SonFed Financial & Insurance Services (“SonFed”) provides bookkeeping, tax preparation, and insurance services as outlined in client agreements.

  • This Refund Policy does not waive or alter any legal rights granted to clients under applicable state or federal law.

  • SonFed is not responsible for errors or delays caused by third parties (e.g., IRS, state agencies, or insurance carriers).

  • Refunds apply only to fees paid directly to SonFed. Any third-party fees (such as filing fees, carrier premiums, or government charges) are non-refundable.

  • SonFed reserves the right to update or amend this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of service will apply.

  • By engaging SonFed’s services, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Refund Policy and Legal Disclaimer.

SonFed Refund Policy

 

At SonFed Financial & Insurance Services, we strive to provide high-quality bookkeeping, tax, and insurance services. Because our work involves time, expertise, and in some cases third-party filings, our refund policy is as follows:

Bookkeeping Services

  • Monthly/quarterly/annual bookkeeping fees are non-refundable once services have been delivered (i.e., books have been updated or reports prepared).

  • If you cancel before work has begun for the period billed, you may request a full refund of prepaid fees.

Tax Preparation Services

  • Tax preparation fees are non-refundable once a return has been prepared and/or filed with the IRS or state agency.

  • If you cancel before work begins, any prepaid fees will be refunded in full.

  • In the event of an error made by SonFed, we will correct the return at no additional cost.

Insurance Services

  • Insurance policies are governed by carrier rules. Premium refunds (if applicable) are subject to the insurance company’s refund policies, not SonFed’s.

  • Service/consultation fees charged by SonFed are non-refundable once the consultation is completed.

General Notes

  • Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@sonfed.com within 30 days of purchase.
